This initiative was undertaken by the CEO of Dar El Content, Manal Amin, and the Creative and Executive Director of Scheherazade, Ahmed Salah Eldin, and the Business Development Manager of Scheherazade, Mai Abdel Wahab.

Launched in August 2023, the Scheherazade digital platform marks the beginning of a transformative journey to enrich and revolutionize Arabic digital content through immersive narrative sequences spanning art, literature, and culture. Scheherazade seeks to build a harmonious bridge between high culture and a broader, modern audience. Under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief Zine El Abidine Khairy whose wealth of experience brings unmatched depth to the project, the platform curates masterfully written tales from a collective of the region’s brightest literary minds. To ensure seamless accessibility, these narratives are also produced as high-quality audio recordings, allowing listeners to effortlessly engage with world-class storytelling at any time of day.

In September 2023, “Mahka Scheherazade” was launched, which is the second phase of the Scheherazade initiative, and it consists of audio and visual narrative sequences from the legacies of human cultures. The preparation and presentation of these sequences are carried out by a group of the best cadres and talents in this field in order to provide refined content at the highest level of quality and excellence. This is to ensure the enjoyment and benefit of the recipient from the perspective of Scheherazade’s narrative. The goal is for Scheherazade to become a complete tale that accompanies the recipient at all times, and offers a magical journey into tales extending across cultures and eras.
